Today's Blessing Ministry

Home

T0day, people need HOPE in the midst of problems. Through Today's Blessing Ministry, you will learn to inspire and encourage others. During 2009, we provided crib blankets, clothing, and food. Also, Dell taught on Encouragement, Prayer, and God's Determined Women.

In 2010, Blessing Brunch and Blessing Gathering events will continue, and Dell Klein, our director, is available to speak at churches or writer's conferences.

Mission Statement

God has called us to inspire and encourage brokenhearted, crushed and hurt people. With that thought in mind, we will...
  • extend a hand to non-believers and encourage them to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ
  • edify and encourage believers as they walk with the Lord
  • write, teach and preach the Word of God,  and use any tool available to carry out this mission.

Note: During 2009, we added Blessing Brunch and Blessing Gathering events to this mission.

On the night of Jan. 30, I woke up with visual images sparking through my mind. I saw the torn flag, a darkened and empty church, a dysfunctional family. I got out of bed and went to my dining table and wrote out this Message. You have my permission to pass it on, but please don't change it.   Dell Klein

A Message for America, The Church, and The Family

God blessed America with wealth and prosperity. With hedonistic fervor, we grasped for more, bigger, better, newer.

God blessed the Church with Light and with Power. We squandered Light and Power on false visions and dreams with no substance.

God blessed Homes with parents and a quiver full of children. We chose to limit God’s blessing with the pill, abortion, abandonment, and divorce.

Today, America no longer cries out for God’s blessing. We're told that crying out to God isn't politically correct. Poverty and sin abound.

Today, the Church sits empty as the lamp of God fades. The Spirit of God no longer strives with humankind.

Today, the Family is fragmented. Marriage abandoned. Children grow up with an ungodly educational system and peers as parents. Where is mother? Who is father?

God said if a child asks for bread a parent would not give a stone. Is anyone asking for Bread?

Cry out, America. Cry out Church. Cry out Family. Cry out, “Bread of Life. Bread of Life, we need You now to bless America, to bless the Church, to bless our Family.”

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles  7:14 NIV)

 The View From the Hill

February,  2010--

Ah...the month when Love comes to mind. This is particularly true since this is our wedding Anniversary month.  Love!

Rain and wind storms have continued. It has kept Gil busy replacing, or repairing roofs in our area.  Quartzsite was hit with tornado warnings while we were there. Our trailer did a rock and roll dance that afternoon. The big Revival tent at the church had to be taken down in the wind.

The Winter Camp Meeting was so exciting. We saw people saved, healed, and Baptized in the Holy Spirit.  Even more important, we saw a refreshing pour across the Church as God moved and all of us were refreshed.

Dell's series on the Heroes of the Bible turned out to be well received. Each morning, she led a few  old choruses and taught about a different Bible Character and what we can learn from that person.

One message stuck with us and we have been in much prayer about it.  God showed us that the enemy -- that subtle only serpent -- has been stealing our families.  Dell is preparing a message and in the meantime both of us have been praying that we will be bold in reaching out to our families and take them back for the Lord. You'll hear us talk about this more. This year of 2010 is the year we TAKE BACK WHAT THE ENEMY HAS STOLEN.

Have a blessed month. Keep coming back. We'll  keep you informed as to what is taking place within Today's Blessing Ministry.

 Blessings,

Dell and Gil Klein
