Dell and Gil Klein continue to use writing, dramatic readings, skits and Gospel singing to teach, encourage and set free.
And recently, a their ministry has taken a new direction as God called Dell to minister to women who have been called into ministry. We will bring more information here as time goes by.
They live in the Weaver Mountains of Arizona where they work in their home church.
Dell serves as women's ministry Bible teacher--a growing women's group called MIRIAM'S DANCE!
When God called them into ministry, they had to step back a minute. "Did we hear that right, Lord?" they asked. After all, they were planning to retire.
Today, they say that they did hear God right. They love what they are doing.
And, if you are around them very long, you'll hear one of them say, "We aren't retired. We've been re-fired!"
When not at home, they live in an 18 ft. travel trailer. Dell sings and speaks at writer's conferences, women's retreats, winter campmeetings and RV parks.
Gil drives their rig and sees that they arrive safely and on time.
God is blessing their efforts. In 2006, they sang or spoke 82 times.
Beyond her platform ministry, Dell writes devotions, family and writing articles. She also mentors new writers and moderates Arizona's North section of ACFW. Also, she speaks and teaches workshops at writer's conferences.
During 2006, she wrote for At Home With Christian Fiction, Anchor, Christian Communicator, Devotions for the Deaf, Quiet Hour, Pathways to God, Standard Press, and Dancing Word.
Also, she writes an e-zine called BLESSING! I know I mentioned it once, but remember it's free and available now. If you are interested in receiving this e-zine, write Admin@SmithKlein.net and write "Blessing!" in the subject line.
TODAY'S BLESSING MINISTRY has been formed to minister to broken hearted, crushed, and hurt people of the Church. With that thought in mind, the Kleins,
1) extend a hand to non-believers and encourage them to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ,
2) edify and encourage believers as they walk with the Lord, and,
3) teach the Word of God, sing, do drakmatic readings, tell stories, or use any other tool available to carry out this mission.
