Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress. I will not be shaken . (Psalm 61:5 NIV)

2011 turned out to be quite a journey. I've been keeping a journal for...close to 30 years. I didn't start my journal until March last year!
MARCH: Three weeks of teaching on the Names of God: Elohim, ElRoy, El shaddai. Also tucked in March is a women's bible study on Mary Magdalene.
APRIL: That's when I preached at the WINGS Retreat in Yarnell, AZ. Women from that desert community came to the mountain wearing sundresses and open-toed shoes. Guess what happened -- it snowed! We were rushing around finding gloves and coats!
MAY: The biggest event in May turned out to be the Wellness exams. Gil and I both turned out to be health.
JUNE: I had a few preaching and teaching times in June. Preached at Aglow, at Saturday Night Alive!, and two times at God's Lighthouse. Also, taught the women's Bible study that month.
JULY: Sports Camp! We did registration and Gil handled First Aid. We took a Leadership Course, and I taught women's Bible study. Interesting month.
AUGUST: OCW summer Writing Conference that month. And I began attenting the Pastor's Prayer once a week.
SEPTEMBER: Preached again at Saturday Night Alive! and talked about Hope at CR. Took a class on spiritual warfare.
OCTOBER: Things began winding down. Maybe I only thought they were winding down! I taught women's bible study two weeks in Oct.
NOVEMBER: I was approved by the board of Mount Hope to be a Commissioned Minister. Spoke at Mount Hope one Wednesday night.
DECEMBER: Received Commission, spoke at Advent by Candlelight, spoke at a Women's Conference, led worship at Wednesday evening service, and taught one Wed. evening. Also played the piano for Christmas Eve and Christmas Sunday service.
Whee! wonderful year.
It looks like 2012 will be a Banner Year as well. Already, have speaking times lined up for first couple of months on 2012. Open to opportunities. Gil is, too. It's good to be "in the harness" with my best friend and pulling together.
Blessings,
Dell K
